About

Olga Delane was born in the Soviet city of Krasnokamensk, on the border with China and Mongolia.

In 1993, her family, of German-Dutch origin, moved to Germany. In 2000, Olga graduated from the Academy of Fashion Design in Düsseldorf and moved to Berlin, where she worked as a costume assistant at the Bertolt Brecht Theatre. After that, influenced by her artist friends, she began to take photographs. She was particularly inspired by her return to her homeland, the Siberian steppes, where she decided to expand her photography into film, feeling that photography limited the content she wanted to convey.

Her photographic works have been exhibited at the international auction house VAN HAM and are in private collections.
